The Barbara Wilber Family Fund is generously donating a $1,000 prize to the recipient of the “A Unique Lens” award for outstanding innovative and unique artwork.
“Crossroads was humbled to receive such a generous gift from the family of Barbara Wilbur, who have committed for 10 years to provide a $1,000 a year award for the September Open Regional Show, each year in a different category. Barbara, who passed August 23, 2022, left a remarkable legacy of artwork. Crossroads is honored to share her love of art with a new generation of artists and support their artistic vision. A fitting gift from Barbara.” Ginger Savage, Executive Director
“Crossroads provided a wonderful community and artistic resource for a significant part of my life, especially in later years. During the nineteen-sixties, I was able to pursue my art after work with a group in town that preceded Crossroads. Returning to Baker City after living in Portland, Crossroads on Main Street became my second home. Then Crossroads moved into its current location at the Crossroads Carnegie Arts Center, becoming the crowning glory for the celebration of art in Baker City.” Barbara Wilbur
