Ceramic Lantern Workshop

Instructor: Shannon Hunt Gray Dates: Two Monday nights - December 9th (5:30-8:30pm) and December 16th (5:30-7:00pm) Last Date for Student to Join Class: December 5th Location: Crossroads Age Requirements if any: 21 and over Minimum # of students: 4 Maximum # of Students: 7 Supplies: $5 covers firing charges Course fee: $5 includes clay and all other supplies Course cost: $36.00 for members/ $54 for non-members Make a beautiful ceramic lantern in this fun two-night workshop! In this workshop we’ll hand-build a beautiful lantern (or two!) to decorate your home or give as a holiday gift. No experience necessary - I’ll walk you through the entire process. We’ll build these lanterns from rolled slabs of clay and use templates and forms for the structure. We’ll also decorate with stamps/textures and final glaze the following Monday night! Finished lanterns will be ready to pick up by Friday December 20th.
