Community Night Out
2018 Community Night Out August 7, 2018 A time for the community to come together for a fun evening of food, games, live music, raffle drawings, information and sales booths. An annual project dedicated to bringing Law Enforcement and the community together in a fun relaxed family friendly drug and alcohol-free atmosphere. Set up vendor booths at 3 pm along sidewalks in Geiser Pollman Park Vendors bring their own table and chairs to reserve a booth space contact Phoebe at Baker City Police Department or call Lynette at 541-519-5653 or email bakercityevents1@gmail.com Non- profit and social services booths are free. Retail and sales booths fee is $15 payable to Baker City Events. All vendors must supply a raffle basket or gift certificate with value of at least $15. One free raffle ticket will be given to each person as they go through the food line. Extra raffle tickets may be purchased 1 for $1, 7 for $5, 15 for $10, 35 for $20. Raffle proceeds and donations fund future events. Raffle drawing begins after everyone has gone through the food line and had a chance to get a raffle ticket. If you leave before all raffle items are given out, please give your ticket to someone who is staying. Safeway donated soda pop, water and ice Oregon Trail Restaurant and Baker City Events provide Chicken Legs, chips and grapes Baker City Lions Club serves food Food Line at Lions Shelter: serve vendors 5 pm serve public 5:30 pm Frank Carlson will provide live music begins 6 pm in the heart of the park at Powder River Pavilion The Elks will provide ice cream at their wagon Looking for vendors and financial supporting co – sponsors Media support sponsors include Baker City Herald, KBKR, Base Camp Baker, Baker County Chamber of Commerce, Oregon Festivals and Events, Baker City Events – www.facebook.com/bakercityevents
