A 1950s Florida gargoyle as rich as she is ruthless, Idris Seabright expects everyone in her life to be as obedient and unchanging as the subjects of her still-life paintings – and she’ll do anything to keep them still. Idris might be just as handy with a hatchet as she is with a paintbrush. The double entendres come a mile a minute in this campy take on classic melodrama.
