From Maxville to Vanport Dinner and Concert Celebrating Oregon History

Crossroads is thrilled to partner with the Baker Heritage Museum and the Portland Jazz Composers Ensemble for a wonderful evening of original jazz and the rich and remarkable history storytelling of Oregon’s shared history. “ From Maxville to VanPort” will be Baker Heritage Museum and Crossroads Carnegie Art Center Inc. In Partnership with Portland Jazz Composers Ensemble Presents: Dinner and Concert Celebrating Oregon History • Dinner, Concert, and Silent Auction • Songs and a short film inspired by the African-American experience in Oregon featuring a 12-piece jazz ensemble with Marilyn Keller, vocals • Lyrics by S. Renee Mitchell, Music by Ezra Weiss, Video by Kalimah Abioto • Building understanding and celebrating our shared history. • Benefiting the Baker Heritage Museum and Crossroads Carnegie Art Center programs. Saturday April 14th, 5 PM Social Hour, 6PM Dinner Baker Heritage Museum Grant Ballroom 2480 Grove St Baker City, OR97814 $50.00 a person includes dinner and performance—No Host Bar. Tickets will be available at Crossroads Carnegie Art Center, online at www.crossroads-arts.org, or at the Baker Heritage Museum after March 17th.
