Halfway Oregon, population 337, which officially changed it's name to Half.com) during the dot-com boom of the late 90's. Half.com made many promises. Some of which were honored and others not. The town is located ''halfway'' between the communities of Pine and Cornucopia. Many people have the impression that the city of Halfway is in the middle of the state. In fact, the town lies less than one half-hour away from the Idaho border.
